The countryside is a vital natural asset and its contribution to our everyday life cannot be underestimated. The Prince’s Countryside Fund (PCF) and The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund support the rural economy, raise awareness and celebrate the values of the countryside.
In line with current social distancing measures, PCF has arranged several virtual activities to celebrate national countryside week on 20th to 26th July 2020.
This year’s countryside week campaign aims to:
- Highlight the importance and vital contribution of the British farming community.
- Demonstrate the breadth of PCF’s work – from the charity’s research through to The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme, and grant making.
- Raise awareness of the PCF by promoting its work with partners such as the Jordans Sustainable Agriculture Bursary, the New Holland Up To Speed scheme, and the McDonald’s Ready for Change sessions.
PWCF supports PCF’s vision of a confident, robust and sustainable agricultural and rural community which is universally appreciated for its vital contribution to our British way of life and fit to support future generations.
For more than 10 years, PCF has improved the prospects of family farm businesses and the quality of rural life.
