Celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III

This weekend, the United Kingdom and Commonwealth will come together to celebrate The Coronation of our Founder King Charles III and Queen Camilla. This momentous occasion will be marked with events across the country and a concert at Windsor Castle.

PWCF was founded in 1979 by His Majesty King Charles III (then HRH The Prince of Wales). In the four decades since we have been working to transform lives and build sustainable communities through our grant-making programmes and through our charitable subsidiaries the Prince’s Countryside Fund and Accounting for Sustainability Initiative.

Our Founder’s long-standing commitment to his charitable interests and championing the causes he cares so deeply about inspires the work of the Fund. And thanks to our unique funding partnership with Waitrose Duchy Organics, over £40million has been donated to support the Fund’s work across the UK, Commonwealth and internationally.

This weekend, we will be celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty as representatives from many of the charities supported by the Fund over the years attend events in London and the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle. Stay tuned for more information on our website and social media channels!
