Prince’s Countryside Fund doubles Duchy Organic income

Duchy Organic, the pioneering organic food and drink brand founded by HRH The Prince of Wales within Duchy Originals Ltd, and exclusively retailed by Waitrose & Partners, has decided to donate £200,000 to The Prince’s Countryside Fund in 2020-21.

Duchy Organic proudly supports British farmers by sourcing quality products from across the UK (where possible) and working with high quality organic growers around the world. Duchy Originals Ltd donates its profits to The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund and to date have raised over £23.5 million to support good causes.

The Prince’s Countryside Fund is incredibly grateful to Duchy Organic for its increased support at a time where many farm businesses and rural communities are struggling to cope with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Since 2010, the Fund has provided business skills training to over 1000 farming families through The Prince’s Dairy Initiative and The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme, and contributed more than £10 million to over 350 rural community projects.
