PWCF supports RBST accredited Farm Parks Projects

The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund has made a major grant in support of The Rare Breeds Survival Trust (RBST) Farm Parks Project. This project seeks to develop breeding programmes, knowledge transfer initiatives between Farm Parks and promotional campaigns to highlight the importance of Rare Breeds.

The Prince of Wales, Patron of RBST, recently visited one of its accredited farm parks run by Adam Henson. His Royal Highness learned about the challenges faced by rare breed farm parks around the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The visit to Cotswold Farm Park highlighted the important work that these farm parks do in preserving British native breeds, encouraging visitors to return to them when they re-open and go back regularly throughout the year to watch the animals change and grow. There are 21 RBST Accredited Farms across the country.
