TRH Annual Review 2020
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have today published their Annual Review covering the period from April 2019 to March 2020. The report highlights a busy year of 580 engagements across 14 countries covering a huge array of activity including the D-Day 75th anniversary commemorations, His Royal Highness’s first trip to the Solomon Islands and the launch of The Prince’s Sustainable Markets Initiative.
Her Royal Highness, meanwhile, focussed on her work in areas including literacy and domestic violence where she gave a key note address on the subject at the tenth Women of the World Festival and launched her first hashtag #everyonesproblem.
The year in review concluded with the unprecedented lock down of the entire country during the early stages of the Coronavirus pandemic. In these weeks, Their Royal Highnesses adapted quickly to carry out their duties in the digital rather than physical space, enabling them to support many of the charities and services they represent including Age UK, The Royal Voluntary Service and of course the incredible work of the NHS.
